These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of humeband.org and the Hume Health mobile application (together, the "Services"), operated in connection with Hume Health Corp ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase from humeband.org or create a Hume Health account. The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

2. Orders & Payment

When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase a Hume Band 2.0 (and any add-ons, such as the extended warranty) at the listed price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues — in which case any payment already collected will be refunded in full.

Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted and are subject to change without notice, though any change will not affect an order already placed.

4. Product Use & Health Disclaimer

Hume Band 2.0 is a consumer wellness device intended to help you track and understand general health and lifestyle trends. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Metrics like biological age, metabolic momentum, and chronic illness indicators are wellness estimates derived from sensor data and proprietary algorithms — they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making medical decisions, and seek immediate medical attention for any urgent health concern regardless of what the app shows.

5. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your Hume Health account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or tamper with the Hume Band hardware or software in a way that violates applicable law; use the Services to violate any law or the rights of others; or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

7. Intellectual Property

"Hume Band," "Hume Health," and associated logos are trademarks of Hume Health Corp. The design of the device, the app, and the content on this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

8. Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Aside from the express warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hume Health Corp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product or Services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable consumer protection and commercial laws in the jurisdiction where Hume Health Corp operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
