What exactly is the Hume Band 2.0?
It's a wrist-worn longevity tracker. Rather than focusing purely on workouts, it continuously reads biological age, metabolic momentum, blood pressure trends, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep stages, and skin temperature — all on a single charge that lasts up to 14 days.
Do I need a phone to use it?
The band itself tracks and stores data independently, but you'll want the free Hume Health app (iOS and Android) nearby to sync your data and view your daily insights. A phone isn't required to be within range at all times — the band stores several days of data and syncs automatically once you're back near your phone.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. Hume Band 2.0 is IP68-rated, meaning it's dustproof and water-resistant to 1 meter for up to 2 hours. It's fine to shower, swim, or sweat through a workout while wearing it.
How accurate are the readings?
Hume Band 2.0 uses 5 LEDs and 4 photodiodes to sample biometric signals more frequently than most wearables in its class, and its accuracy has been validated through internal lab testing and independent third-party comparisons. As with any wrist-worn optical sensor, accuracy can vary slightly with fit, skin tone, and motion — for the most consistent readings, wear the band snugly, about a finger's width above your wrist bone.

Is there a subscription option?
An optional Hume Premium plan is available for $8.99/month. It adds AI-driven coaching and deeper longevity analysis on top of the core metrics, which remain free with your one-time purchase.

App & Account
Can I export my data?
Yes. Your biomarker history can be exported from the Hume Health app at any time — your data belongs to you, not to us.
