Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making humeband.org usable for everyone.
Last updated: June 2026
Hume Health Corp is committed to making humeband.org and the Hume Health app usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page describes our ongoing efforts and how to reach us if something isn't working the way it should.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across humeband.org. This includes efforts such as:
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images, so screen readers can convey what's shown.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds throughout the site.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive elements — including our mobile navigation menu and FAQ accordions.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labeling so screen readers can correctly announce headings, buttons, and regions of the page.
- Text that resizes properly without breaking layout, for users who increase browser font size or zoom.
This Is Ongoing Work
Accessibility isn't a box we check once — it's something we revisit as the site evolves. If you encounter a barrier anywhere on humeband.org or in the Hume Health app, we want to know about it so we can fix it.
Accessibility Feedback
If you use assistive technology and run into any part of our site or app that's difficult to use, please tell us. When you reach out, it helps to include:
- The page or app screen where you ran into a problem
- A brief description of the issue
- The assistive technology and browser or device you were using
We review accessibility feedback promptly and prioritize fixes that affect the ability to browse, learn about, or purchase our product.
Third-Party Content
Some content on humeband.org, such as embedded checkout or payment components, is provided by third-party services. While we choose vendors that share our commitment to accessibility, we can't guarantee full control over their implementation — if you run into an issue in one of these components, let us know and we'll work with the vendor or find an alternative path for you.
Let us know if something isn't working
